We made it to Milwaukee last night! What a trip! Max was terrible on the flight but went right to sleep when we got to Grandma and Bumpa's. Everyone was very surprised to see me since I wasn't supposed to come. At the last minute I booked a flight. I couldn't bear to be away from my boys! Max is with his grandparents today, playing and heading to Lake Geneva to see the lights display there with his cousins. He will have a great time. Jeff and I are in Green Bay, he is attending the football game in the freezing cold and I am out shopping for all those after Christmas sales. :) Tomorrow we are getting together with some family and friends at Jeff's sister's house which should be a lot of fun.

Christmas

Well Christmas wonderful. Max was so good with all the presents, it was quite overwhelming and he just dug right in spending time with each gift and wanting to play with it all at once. It was so much fun to see him enjoy it all so much. We made brunch for my parents and us and then Max went to take a nap. After that we drove up to my Aunt Linda and Uncle Steve's where we got to spend some time with my cousins and Great-Grampy. He got a kick out of Max, he is quite the entertainer dancing and running around. He was sooo good yesterday and I am just hoping and praying we get that same little boy on the flight to Milwaukee today!

Today was a long but wonderful day. We went to a brunch with some of Jeff's co-workers at the Cheesecake factory where Max was VERY good (I was shocked at how well he was waiting and hanging out with adults). And later Max and I went to a kids Christmas party at a friends house in Duxbury. There were sooo many kids there. He made a Christmas ornament for our tree and had lots of fun watching the other kids and throwing the contents of the ornaments all over the floor. He loved drinking from everyone's juice boxes and he displayed his dancing ability for all to see. He does love to dance and he has some serious moves! Max was so exhausted he went to bed at 7 and I won't be too far behind him. Only three days left til Christmas!! YAY!

First Post
Hello! I thought I would follow in my friend footsteps and create a blog for my son Max and future siblings about the adventures at Casa de Galecke! Lets see, right now my son is in the kitchen asking to eat but won't eat what we made for him. Earlier today he ate a ton of cookies, but no way those two things are related :) We are getting ready for Christmas with lots of wrapping and pulling presents off the tree. His favorite game is to drive his toy cars into the base of the tree or try and hang them as ornaments. Ah the fun for a 20 month old!
